Question about "The Reagans" spin

The radio station my wife listens to in the morning (a Clear Channel station - in the Cleveland/Akron/Canton area, you can't hear much else) had their Repuke ass-kisser saying that "focus groups" saw the pre-release copy of "The Reagans".

Until that point, I had never heard anything about "focus groups" getting an early viewing.

Had anybody else? Or, was this yet another spin attempt by someone who, aside from being unabashedly for Repukes, called St. Ronnie "probably our most beloved President" (he did a slight disclaimer which gave a mild nod to JFK; probably only because of the "tax cut" statement)?
