Protester Is Standing On Front Gate Of Buckingham Palace |
|
Ya gotta love the Brits. I just received this email from someone on the scene:
A woman from Hull clambered up the front gates of Buck House and hung an American flag upside down with the message written on it "Bush is not welcome here" and is still standing there after a couple of hours. She managed to get past 14,000 police. The police have allowed her to remain as it is her right to protest. They are encouraging her to come down.
5:30 P.M. She's still up there. Fire fighters are there now encouraging her to come down.
I'll keep you posted. Cheers!
Regards,
Anne

2. Wouldn't it be great to live in a country where free speech was allowed? |

4. Well, according to Stupidhead . . . |
|
The Brits are "lucky" to live in a country that allows some version of free speech.
Odd, isn't it, how dopes like Stupidhead think that natural, inalienable, God-given rights are "granted" to "lucky" people? News flash for the neanderthal right: My rights are my rights. They aren't "won" for me at gunpoint, they aren't guaranteed by military might. They're mine and as natural a part of me as my hair color and blood type. I'm not type O-negative because the U.S. can send a hundred thousand soldiers off to Iraq and kill thousands of people. Similarly, I don't have the right of free speech just because Lil George grants it to me.

They did not stay in the "first amendment zone", they went to areas where Bush supporters were.

I hope our UK friends know that we're rooting for her. Don't come down lady!
To the Brits: I hope you realize how much we're counting on you to show shrub what an idiot he is in the eyes of the world. Make us proud!

lord knows in Bushzhakistan she would have been pepper sprayed and dragged away at the very least.
