Are people in the Bush admin glad there is resistance in Iraq? |
|
The resistance keeps the military there longer, assuring more profits for US corporations, and keeps people in the US in fear, which we know helps repugs get elected (worked in 2002). I know they don't want Bush's ratings to fall; but do they really want all-out peace in Iraq before US corporations take control of the resources and markets?

1. hell YES they're glad! |

more dead soldiers mean less tolerance of dissent. The UN pulling out means more oil for BushCo. 9/11 meant the mandate that Bush didn't get at the polls
If these men actually cared about the lives lost, on both (or hell, either) sides, it would be a different story.
Instead, the additional cases of 'bringing them on' resulted in Bush declaring officially that we will NOT be leaving Iraq anytime soon
dead Amercians = venture capital to these thugs

Another poster here (sorry, can't recall who) mentioned that in a twisted way, AlQaeda is one of the best friends the Bush administration has. They allow the Bush Horror to trudge forward, with blessings all 'round for those who love to rob civil liberties and come up with new war toys to sell to all parties involved.
To war venture capitalists, it's a win win situation to have AlQaeda there.
