Something that's been bothering me...

Okay, bare with me. "Terrorists" attack New York on 9/11. The United States respond by bombing and occupying an completely inconsequential country like Iraq. Now, to the "terrorists" this is the best possible scenario. They attack us, we respond by attacking Canada, for all practicle purposes. Our backs are turned, we're strung out in Iraq...why no responce from the "terrorist" here in America? The whole situation is very smelly, isn't it?

I kept saying this too. It wouldn't take much to disrupt america, witness the sniper shootings around DC. If Al Qaeda was the boogeyman they are made out to be, why haven't they bombed a restaurant here or something. It's very very fishy. Then we get the bullshit about it's better to fight them over there as though that explains why they haven't hit us here.
