AARP and legal revenge
I am pissed off at AARP for caving into their GOP masters. Now that I have turned the 50 corner I get a lot of literature from these bastards. So I have decided to get them in their funds in the future and have just tended a legal contract offer to AARP to review their literature for a fee. I have sent this into AARP and WILL BILL THEIR ASS WITH every piece of crapola they send. At some point they will pay or stop sending out stuff. This will cause ALL kinds of issues for them. I think that it would NOT be upheld by the repub judges BUT it will cost them a fortune and who knows how many invoices they will pay before they get wise....anyway a copy of the contract I am offering to the AARPASSHOLES. Of course, being a victim of the "bush booming economy" I can use the money. Haven't worked since March.

****************submitted today****************
I hereby extend an offer to AARP to send me their sales/membership literature for review for a fee. I will agree to read the proffered literature for the fee of $150 US dollars per page with a one page sheet minimum. I will read each page on every sheet and will bill accordingly. I will bill AARP within 3 days of receipt of each proffered item for review. Payment for services rendered is due upon reciept of the invoice presented. Such invoice will reference this email communication as our record of contract, offered and accepted. I will consider further receipt of AARP literature as an acceptance of this contract.
Offered this 18th day of Novemeber 2003, in the State of Washington. All disputes to this contract will be settled within the courts of Washington State. This is a legally binding offer to enter into a contract to review AARP literature of all kinds. ANY delivery of AARP literature of any form to XXXXX of YYYYY ZZ will hereafter result in a review of the literature and the presentation of an invoice for payment. AARP can not alter the terms of this contract without prior written consent by XXXXXX, and can decline the contract offer by NOT deliverying any AARP literature to XXXXX at his YYYYYY address.
This contract printed and stored for future reference.

*******************************
A good Idea?

Also now going to send some new "terms and conditions" to the various credit card companies that are always changing the terms of my contract without my prior consent. Two can play that game.

I once sent a bill to a doctor.. I took off work to keep my appointment, and his office staff kept me waiting for 2 hours, before finally telling me that he "was stuck at the hospital".. The truth was..he was never there for any of the time I was waiting..

They had a big sign on the desk that said something to the effect that if you failed to cancel your appointment with a 24 hour notice, you would be billed for the entire office visit amount..

I would have been happy to reschedule had they just told me he had been called away on an emergency, but they kept saying "he was running behind schedule, and I would be called soon"..

I had tons of work to do at my office, and ended up staying late to catch up on what I "could have done" if not for wasting my time there..

I sent him a bill for my time.. They did not pay it, but I did get a written apology..:)

4. make it legal
Write it on the back of check, when they endorse it, it is a legally binding contract and you will have the returned check when you take them to court.

Are you a lawyer? You might need one so clarify the contract and erase any loopholes.

At any rate, you are a genius. I may have to try something like that. Probably won't work the second time around, though.

3. I am very, very surprised and
extremely disappointed with AARP. My mother has been a member for many years now, which means I've read their monthly newsletters and magazines, and this is not at all typical of them. My mom's very upset with them over this, and can't figure out why they're suddenly changing their tune.

Great idea, btw, give them and the damn credit card companies a taste of their own damn medicine.
