Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee expected to endorse Dean today
Schein also notes Dean’s inroads among some important corners of the party coalition with endorsements yesterday from Reps. Elijah Cummings, chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, David Wu, and centrist Democrat Jim Moran. Schein says Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee is expected to endorse Dean today in Houston.

5. But, but but does she have as much clout as
Madonna?

Sorry Clark supporters (hey I like him!) but Madonna is the last person I would be thrilled about to have as my endorser.

8. Martin Sheen actually puts his butt on the line at anti-Nuke rallies.
Madonna sold her body to the world in a freaking sex book and as a material girl has set back feminism in America greatly.

Hate her music, really dislike her.

15. "Dean’s campaign has a turned a major corner ...

when it comes to minority support" says msnbc. And that's with Rep Cummings, BEFORE Jackson Lee endorsed.

snip>
Although he never used the words “I endorse,” a sweat-drenched and energetic Cummings delivered a speech that highlighted two issues as the reasons for his endorsement; the governor’s stand on the Iraq war and his consistent criticism of President Bush’s administration.

16. I have this feeling that Carol M. Braun will endorse him as well
When/if she pulls out.

They seem to get along well. I expect her to get a cabinet post. I think she'd make an excellent Secretary of Labor.
