I read something in the AA forum about a boycott on amazon.com.

Can someone tell me what this is about? tia

2. It's part of the Borders strike, but it doesn't make sense to me.
Amazon and Borders are two different companies, and are competitors, except that Amazon manages Border's web site sales.

So, don't buy books through Borders.com, and don't do stock checks on Borders through Amazon. But it just makes no sense to boycott Amazon because they have no control over Borders's employment practices.
