meaning governors state legislators, federal municipal and state officers, federal legislators, etc...?

All of them?

That would promt reminders of the republican shutdown under Clinton. But even then the republicans didnt pull everyone.

its an idea, im mixed on it. I recall the shutdown backfired on the republicans too.

6. I agree that it would backfire
Especially after the Dems lambasting of the Repubs for their 39-hour filibuster charade taking time away from real business, it will look like hypocrisy.
