Will "Farenheit 911" suffer like CBS's 'The Reagans' did? |
|
What are the chances right before this film comes out the reich wing will do what they did w/the Reagans & the film ends going direct to video? A month ago I'd say no way, but nowadays, who knows?

2. I don't think Moore will let that happen. |
|
I mean, they tried to keep Stupid White Men from being published and look what happened.
I think the film will generate too much buzz for it to be scrapped. Michael is timing its release just before the election.

3. It will still play in art houses who will not care... |
|
what Bush & Co. say (this is where Bowling for Columbine started). If the public pays to see it, other theaters will want it. Money does talk and the film will get out.

5. I'm willing to bet that Moore is hoping for RW outrage |
|
and will use it to market the film. It'll sell tons of tickets.

9. They could suicide him |
|
I'm sure it's being discussed in the smoke filled back room.
The only problem with that solution is it'll be extremely obvious that he was offed, but unfortunately these thugs are all above the law.

11. Is it still being produced by Disney or is Moore going Canadian again? |
|
I seem to remember that Disney got a lot of hatemail because of their involvement in Fahrenheit 9111. Forgot the details though.

12. Disney has had run-ins with freeper-types before |
|
...with the Southern Baptist boycotts of their theme parks over domestic partner benefits, and the production of Ellen. Disney knows that there's much more to thier bark than bite.

13. I *think* Canadian money is backing it |
|
I remember Mike saying several times that he doesn't have to worry because he's backed by Canadians.
Not sure about Disney's involvement though.

15. They'll bitch, of coourse. But it won't do any good. |
|
In fact, that's what Moore wants them to do.
The moronic brownshirts will unwillignly help to sell it, just as they did with the Last Temptation of Christ, and a million other things.

16. Moore better get his facts straight |
|
Make sure every i is dotted and every t crossed before this movie comes out.
If he wants it to have any impact it better be 100% accurate.
