but find it hard to navigate along those threads. It is confusing if you are not used to that format. I agree, there are Repugs there who are spouting the Bush fascist mantra and they need to be rebutted and they need to be rebutted often and loud with the truth. They are spouting the egregious lies of Bush and making a seeming good case with the lies--they need to be rebutted--severely.

4. I was a member of AARP, until today... |
|
I cancelled my membership (hell, I'm only 53), but I made sure that they knew why.
Their phone lines are jammed, but I hung on. The AARP rep tried to explain why the legislation was good. No dice. I told him it was a $12 billion payday for big business, and the beginning of privatizing Medicare.
I'm outta AARP for good.

6. There is some real hatred being spewed there. |
|
I read some of those posts by the RNC disinfomation specialists....pretty sickening. They really do hate America....they must be getting desparate....I'm hoping that people read their garbage and ask themselves, "Do these people represent America"? Because if the answer is no, they have to vote Democrat and we need to purge this hatred from our political landscape.

I read some too, but there's some pretty lively opposition. "Get your money back and cancel" stuff. Great.

8. Here's one from one of us... |
|
>>Corporations are not anti-people. Corporations are made up of people.
===
Yeah---- and Wal-Mart is the tooth fairy! Wal-Mart has become the poster child for the definition of McJob. This one company has done more to harm this country in the past several years, by creating slave wage jobs, hiring illegals to suppress wages, and being anti-worker and anti-union than any company around other than Tyson foods and IBP beef packers. Many other corporation have followed suit and contrary to your claim have become companies that were good employers, but have followed the role model set out by wallie world. Those from the right will not be happy until we have people working for $1.00 per hour again and thanking those in power for our measly existence. Of course, when that happens, those same people from the right will be celebrating because they have made even more profits, off the backs of the American worker.
Corporations are made up of people, who practice greed is good, and that people are expendable,in the name of profit and dividends.
Take your rose colored glasses off and take a good hard look at what has been going on since 1981 when your hero Reagan busted the PATCO union. Things have gone to he## for the American worker every year since then.
The cry from the right is, we have to have all these illegals in this country because they take the jobs no one else will perform! My answer to that is, that if these greed driven companies would pay a livable wage with decent working conditions there would be no need for the hiring of all the illegals in this country.
One last though for AARP. You screwed up when you chose to back the republican medicare plan!!!!!!

Wasn't a Clark supporter, but the fact that they screamed his name out must mean he's the one who scares the Bushies the most.
