Poll question: Favorite Branch of a Democratic Federal Government? |
|
Let's assume we win the White House and sweep Congress, and appoint two new liberals to the Supreme Court. Which branch of government, Executive, Legislative, or Judicial, do you think is the best kind of government? Most Americans like the idea of these powers being separated, but if you had to choose only one branch to serve as the entire federal government, which would you pick?

No offense, but "What single part of the government wouldn't you mind being dissolved?" kinda eats through the wonderful checks and balances part of our government like some muriatic molotov cocktail.
Oh, hell. I pick Legislative.

The three branches of government didn't just appear spontaneously in 1789 you know. They are basically different, pre-existing models of government that have been balanced. "muriatic molotov cocktail"? :)
I picked legislative too, democracy and all.
