They have to know it. I was one of the earlier calls today, and my GOP rep's aide was stunned. She said you had to wait to get through? She said oh they could just have been busy. I said no they said they were being overwhelmed. Silence.

I did not really get answers on their vote from Graham or Nelson, my senators. But they know that people are not letting AARP speak for them.

They need to know that.

1. Wrote Graham and Nelson this morning re my disgust with AARP!
I do so hope AARP is inundated with complaints from their members whom they have sold out.

Did you know that they sell prescription drugs. An example: 90 day supply of Lipitor cost $183! Perhaps AARP is not interested in holding down the cost of drugs!

2. I was not able to keep my disgust out of my voice either.
I did not realize the cost of the drugs because we have insurance from our previous employers (which we will now lose). However, that sounds just outrageous. They have gotten away with this too long.

3. I believe my parents have AARP.
I haven't paid much attention to this vote that went down. Can someone clue me in on exactly what the deal is so that I can inform my parents. I don't think they pay attention to stuff like that. Although they should. They think AARP is looking out for them.

4. I called everyone today
Let my Senators know that I was finished with AARP and they did not represent me. I have been a member for 11 years and told them I was not just angry but to put me down for FURIOUS. A very nice young man, said, "Furious, it is then".
