1. spouting that the media is liberal
Jon: "There are conservative bubbles"

Jon: I don't notice the liberal bias

Bernie: If you're to the left of center, you won't notice that they are left of center

Says he's an old fashioned liberal like Kennedy, after Jon calls him a Conservative

4. Old fasioned liberal
How... what... what is so different about the liberals today? I don't get it. I am nothing like the straw men that I'm painted as. I just don't get it.

2. He's so full of shit
He is nothing like Kennedy, and what a surprise he doesn't like Franken. Al would tear him a new one if they faced off. And John knows he's so full of it.

Al Franken isn't really *that* liberal
It's really about gays and affirmative action? Is this what's its all about?

11. Franken already tore him one
Franken de-pantsed Bernie on Donahue's MSNBC show last year, I believe. He pounced on a quote Bernie attributed to John Chancellor and got that lying weasel to admit that he took the quote completely out of context and mispresented what Chancellor was intending (one example of Bernie's claim of "liberal bias"). All Bernie could do was sputter and blather while Franken busted his lying ass.

Check out "Lies and the Lying Liars That Tell Them"...Al goes into it in loving detail

15. That was one of the best things I have ever seen on TV
I was just flipping and I saw Franken so I stopped, and I watched as he eviscerated the crapmonkey on national television.

17. "That's Like Saying..."
""I disagree with your politics but you've got great tits"," is how Stewart responded to the "You're left of center, but you're fun" remark.

Look the GOP is in Power, either the Liberal Media sucks at its job, or it isn't there.

8. I liked this one.
Jon: "We've got a Republican congress, Republican Presidency, and Republican Supreme Court. If there is a liberal bias, they're not doing a very good job."

Did y'all notice the way that Bernie tried to skate out of that one. It was weak.

I also agree with Jon about the sensationalism in the media. I'm not looking foward to it if Micheal Jackson goes to trial. That's all we'll here about for the next couple of months. I also agree with Paul Krugman regarding the media. The problem is not balance but objectivity. These stupid cable news outlets are lazy and do not do investigative journalism. I want old style objective reporting not hearing a couple of talking heads scream at each other. They need to watch Nightline to get an idea of how real objective television reporting is done.

9. Stewart is great
He's clearly on our side but he keeps getting the wingnuts like Goldberg and Dick Morris to come on. He manages to smack them around without seeming too idealogical and with humor.

Of course the cons will say, "oh that's just a comedy show."

Voltaire and Erasmus would be proud.

16. The J-man earns his Emmys the old-fashioned way...
...through sheer curmudgeonist excellence.

If I were the prez, I'd offer The Daily Show permanent white house press passes.

13. Did anybody else
...hate this schmuck when he was pretending to be an objective sports reporter? He got on my nerves so badly then that I wanted to see someone slap the taste out of his mouth. His eventual debut as a wingnut surprised me not in the slightest.
