CSPAN Wednesday AM — Bush* speaking at Whitehall
He already looks nervous and uncomfortable.

1. Making jokes about protests
Exercise of free speech is alive and well. He's blinking a lot and licking his lips and making that pouty face. Doesn't seem as drugged up as usual, but he has this smug, arrogant look.

3. Why does he always have that smirk on his face? He is talking
about serious issues, but the smirk defeats the statement.

4. United Kingdom backdrop
Edited on Wed Nov-19-03 08:46 AM by soup
on edit: backdrop? background? - either is fitting for an unelected pretender to the throne.

6. What a lot of baloney. Sound bites that cannot be refuted or
questioned because he is just spouting all this in a forum that is forced to listen to him without question.
It is a WELL WRITTEN speech but it does NOT reflect the reality of the situation at all.

8. Poor people need democracy
especially to protect themselves from corrupt elites. <-- LOL! I'm sure the irony of this statement goes over many heads.
