Tony Knowles, Democratic Candidate for Senate from Alaska

I hear great things about the former governor Tony Knowles from someone who knows him well. He leads in the polls and has a great shot at taking the seat from the republican daughter of the new governor.

1. I don't know much about him

It does look like he may give us a 50/50 chance to pickup the seat in Alaska. Lisa Murkowski and her father Frank aren't that popular there. Along with Illinois, this is probably on of our best opportunities for a gain.

2. Tony Knowles is a lot like John Edwards

He is a very handsome man that is quite right leaning. He is a Democrat though and will stick with the Democrats on major issues. He is very much for opening ANWR and will push heavily for doing so. I wish him well but not in that regard.
