BBC's Agenda programme very hostile to Sid Blumenthal...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/ram/agenda.ram

This was linked over at MWO. The host takes position of RW interrogator of Sid Blumenthal regarding his book The Clinton Wars.

Sid does as good as a job as you can do with such insipid questioning.

1. Not to Blumenthal personally
That style of hectoring is typical of the "Hard Talk" program that that interviewer comes from. It makes the "interview" virtually worthless, just a test of the interviewee's self-control and ability to refrain from clocking the interviewer upside the head, but it wasn't something directed at Blumenthal in particular. I heard the interviewer do the same thing to some UN functionary a few weeks ago. One hostile, loaded barrage after another, with no real opportunity for response. It's not real hardnosed questioning, merely posturing.
