What is the Senate outlook for the energy/medicare bills?

What is the the current outlook for senate passage of these bills?

1. I think the Prescription Drug bill will pass.

The AARP came out in support of it. That takes a lot of asses of the hook.

Thr energy bill will be tinkered with and pass.

2. Can the tinker anymore with the energy bill?

Was it voted out of conference? Once that happens only ONE form of the bill must be passed out of both houses (exact language) for it to go on to the president. The House of Reps has voted on the bill (and passed it) - which means it is in its final form. The only way to save us from the disaster is to encourage senators to Fillibuster. Note - both Maine republican senators have indicated that they would support a fillibuster. WE need to push this!
