Arnold solved the CA fiscal crisis. |
|
How? He borrowed $15 billion dollars. By putting up for sale that amount of bonds on the state of CA, he simply borrowed the money. Someone has to pay it back. Guess who?
He has learned well from his Republican masters. Just borrow and spend. Don't worry, be happy. If the economy doesn't grow out of the slump, the debt is simply passed on to our children. Wow. What a courageous leader.

"they" have to come up with a plan to raise more money and cut services.

3. ARGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Well, I guess China has it made as the next |
|
Top Dog in the world. With this amount of debt, unless we destroy everything in our path, that is what is coming.
And, if you don't remember, China eliminated the possibility of having females tame all that aggressive testosterone by limiting families to one child. Now we have a WHOLE BUNCH of men, few women, arms, space program, and all the industry.
Welcome to the next world reality.

4. Are you honestly surprised? |

Schwarzenegger knew he couldn't solve California's problems, and I'll bet the people knew he couldn't either.
They just thought it would be "cool" to have the Terminator in charge. Good luck, California... you'll fucking need it.

I don't buy that this is a legitimate governorship. Everything stinks about it from the recall petitions to the hasty election that the counties barely had time to prepare. The best we Californians can do is to hope that our legislature will rein him and his mob in until we can get rid of him one way or the other, either by recall or election when his term is up.

the representatives are beholden to their constituents - and when they see how many of them voted for this idiot, they will vote Arnie's way just to keep their jobs.

14. And there-in lies the problem with the Democratic party. |
|
All the "Centrists" here and in Washington feel that if that is what Americans want then they will give it to them without any real evidence that is so. A few polls tell them one way or another and we all know how polls can be and are finessed to say what is wanted. When the Democrats figure out that what Americans really want is someone who tells it like it really is and acts accordingly.

The unfortunate fact, however, is that nearly 48% of your fellow California voters picked this moron to run their state. Barring some major catastrophe (or a recall), Schwarzy will be there fucking things up until January 2007. If he's lucky enough to win the "Idiots for Schwarzenegger" vote in 2006, he'll be there until 2011.
I shudder to think of the kind of damage this imbecile could do. And now Republicans want to make it possible for him to become President?

13. The media called Ohioans stupid for voting down Taft's |
|
idea of a "debtless" funding for technology.
Of course, a lot of people understood that he was just adding more debt when he was wanting to sell bonds. See, bonds come due, and somebody has to pay the person cashing in the bond, so, if you have no money, you have to borrow more money to pay off the people who helped you get into this hole, and the ponzi scheme goes on.
