Does anyone besides me think the blackout on the east coast.
was a setup for the energy bill? Nobody will be blamed...and the answer according to the energy dept. is regulation in this bill to make someone in charge of the grid overall.

Just another scam from these thugs.

1. Of course!!

I asked someone who is steeped in the stock market what energy companies could actually build the "nationwide grid," and he ran off a few names and mentioned Brown & Root as a construction contractor.

"Stop right there," I said, "We have a winner." :tinfoilhat:

If it does happen and I have no doubt they will try, I expect to see the effort as just another effort for the BFEE to enrich themselves.

(spelling and clarity)

3. Folks, the entire $hrub pResidency was conceived...
...and executed for the benefit of the repug faithful. Think old, fat, white, rich, christian (yeah, right!) and male. "Good ol' boy" doesn't even begin to cover it.

I lived in Dallas, TX for 16 years and watched the rise of gee-dubya, shaking my head with each new twist and turn. Plain and simple, he's just the fatted calf.

2. Chicken or the egg. Hard to say
Lights out for bill or bill brought up because of black out. I tend to think that this group are good at using things that happen. They never let Bush out to say anything so H e does not mess it up. By the way who do you think has the best speech writer? Bush or the Queen as they are both figure heads.

Delivery is everything..when shrub is on...I mute him. Never hear the queen much.

I listened to everything the big dog said and came away impressed and informed.

I want my country back!

5. I'm certifiable anyway but
Since 9/11 I've had this distinct feeling that most large events have been somewhat tampered with and engineered for maximum effect on the psychology of the people.

It's all "reality" TV now folks -- and whatever makes it to TV has political utilitity.

6. more than the east coast
southern Michigan and Toronto were out too.

I blame First Energy Corp in Cleveland. According to DTE (our power company) this is where the problem originated. The CEO of First Energy is a big Bush supporter and held a fundraiser on June 30, 2003 that raised $600,000 for Bush's campaign.

The benefits of deregulation are found in the CEO's pocket, not the consumer's.
