5. Have you noticed that the name calling has changed?
The neo-cons have finally realized that calling a liberal a commie or a socialist wasn't insulting anymore, so now they have changed the labels to Marxists or Stalinists. I even had someone post a picture of Karl Marx in answer to one of my posts yesterday alluding to the fact that I was a Marxist, which is only a blip of irrational thinking away from calling me a Stalinist.

I think it's time to point out that Bush's policies are as totalitarian in spirit as any dreamed up by Stalin. Also, a historical note, Hitler and Stalin were in cahoots much of the time leading up to WWII. It was only then that they had a falling out.

7. Something you should realize about the queen
Begala just said Britain is "ruled by an unelected queen."....Surely he must know the queen is a FIGUREHEAD only...The speech she just made is not necessarily her opinion. The speech she gave came from Tony Blair....She has NO power or influence in political dicisions....We here in Canada are accustomed to seeing her give these speeches, in support of whatever government is in power....It has nothing to do with her personal opinion on any of this...I understand, from things I've read that Prince Charles (and possibly even the queen) is against the Iraq attack....
In other words, she's just doing her job so don't take her words seriously...:)

9. I Noticed That, Too
Shouldn't someone memo Tucker that Stalin died 50 years ago, and with it "Stalinism" (whatever that is).

Now would Bow Tie Boy call some of his GOOP idols such as Lott and DeLay "Segregationists". I didn't think so...

The old labels are so archaic in today's political dynamic, but the Neanderthals not only live in the past, they relish staying there.

11. In terms of Soviet politics,
Stalin was a conservative. Gorbachev was a liberal.
Tucker is such an idiot, he can't even get his name-calling right.

15. Isn't InternationalANSWER = the Stalinist Workers' Party?
You know, the shrill folks who plan the peace rallies in DC because no one else will. Maybe that is why Sucker Carlson calls peace protestors "Stalinist"
