About the Michael Jackson case...Anyone suspicious of these statements? |
|
This was taken from the FOX website. I am no fan of Michael Jackson's but why does this quote make one go.."hmmmmmmm?"
"At some point last spring, the boy's schoolmates — apparently aware of his relationship with Jackson — began taunting him in public. In one case, an incident of harassment is said to have occurred at a gas station, prompting the boy’s mother to seek legal advice. The lawyer she met with advised sending the boy to a psychologist. According to my source, the psychologist had enough concerns to report his conversation to the police.
That would jibe with the idea proposed by the police and others that the family is not seeking civil damages at this time or anticipating a cash settlement similar to the one that happened 10 years ago.
Sadly, according to my source, the health condition of the boy involved is still in jeopardy — a situation that should add to the melodrama of an already shocking and headline-making story."

1. All this stuff that Faux News is putting out |
|
you need to watch out. I am not defending Jackson nor do I even care about this case. But the truth will not be found in the press...it will be in the courtroom.

Many reasons why the parents might not have realized there was problem, kid might not have dealt with it, hence the therapy. I kinda thought the original question implied something more sinister.

According to sources, the boy who made the allegations was a cancer patient whose "last wish" was to meet Jackson at a time that his friends and family feared his illness was worsening.

9. was that the same boy who was on tv |
|
last year (or whenever it was) defending Jackson?
It's so sad. Jackson had such a bundle of talent, love for the world and he was damned handsome. Over the years he has thrown all of it away and has become a deformed monster. And if the accusations are true, how many young lives has he destroyed along the way?
Sad as can be. :(

6. What were the parents smoking? |
|
WHY would they let let their kid, albeit a dying son whose "last wish" was to meet Freako, be alone with said freak?

8. According to CNN, the boy told the psychiatrist that Jackson... |
|
... gave him wine before molesting him. This happened on multiple occassions.
I usually avoid celebrity gossip, as I find it banal and counterproductive, but this story is just horrific.

I'm firmly in the "innocent until proven guilty" camp, unlike the celebrity-fawning sensationalist media.

These charges seem bogus to me.
This shit was settled out of court long ago. Why are they dragging the case out again? A good way to deflect the public's anger and frustration away from Bush and Iraq onto someone else, eh?

14. This fact remains.. The boy's PARENTS let him stay there |
|
THEY should be culpable as well.. Any parent who allows a child to stay with an adult "for a sleepover", might as well be pimping their child..
When our kids were young, we rarely even let them stay over at friend's houses, because "you never know" anymore.. and there was no shortage of "radar" events involving Jackson..
Shame on those parents.. They probably do feel guilty anyway, but they are to blame too.. I am sure that a huge infusion of cash will make the pain go away somewhat...but that kid did not hitchhike to "Michael Jackson's Monkey Circus Land"..

15. michael jackson is a typical white guy! |
|
and many of them are into the things this rich sumbitch is....ie: they're always molesting lil kids, (sweet and innocent lil kids too boot!) and cheatin' on their taxes! SHAME on all white people, for being like that! stronger laws, nastier jails, i believe are long overdue for them guilty!
