Subtle dig from the queen to chimp?
"As part of a special display of American memorabilia in the picture gallery of the palace, Mr Bush was invited to examine a copy of Uncle Tom's Cabin.
With the topic of campaigns to free subjugated peoples from tyranny uppermost in many minds, the story of American slavery by Harriet Beecher Stowe was politely pointed out to Mr Bush by the Queen, with the verdict of one of her predecessors on American civilisation. The extract from Queen Victoria's diary on the novel, briefly perused by Mr Bush and his wife, Laura, read: "To what can human nature descend ... It quite pains me."

But Mr Bush was plainly in no mood for historical comparisons as his tour of the royal art collection got under way. "

3. Classic Quote from Rush Limbaugh
"I don't go to museums because they don't have golf carts . . . if you put a golf cart in a museum I'll go--you can drive around a lot faster"

Some similarities.

4. Ho, Ho get a load of this:
"At one stage, he was so fascinated with his surroundings that he spent a short time staring at the ceiling." Yep, that's our unelected Prez. I'll bet you two to one he's never read or even heard of "Uncle Tom's Cabin". Banned in the south I'll bet.

10. Yep, he's been insulted
in a planned an meticulous way. He probably doesn't understand it at all and will have to wait for Pickels to explain it to him. Other than being offended at being shown a book, it probably went right over his head.

14. This is a guy who devoted 10 minutes to The Hermitage
LOL! Some gems:

The dramatic silence following the 41-gun salute that marked the President's arrival at the Royal Pavilion was broken by a lone heckler addressing himself to the crowd on a loudspeaker.

"If you think that Blair's a poodle, shout 'woof, woof'. If you think Bush is a moron shout 'retard'," he chanted, before the heavy security presence silenced him.

(snip)

A huge pavilion resembling a Punch and Judy stage had been set up on the forecourt of the palace and 30 embassy guest were seated near by to view the start of the state visit.

1505: MEETING FAMILIES OF VICTIMS OF TWIN TOWERS ATTACK

The President's next stop, to meet British relatives of victims of 11 September at the US embassy in Grosvenor Square, received virtually no coverage because it was switched indoors at the last minute.

Mr Bush had planned to visit the memorial garden to those killed in the twin towers, but plans were changed on Tuesday night because of "security" issues and, bafflingly given the dry weather, "rain"…
