it's not just because he is featured in "salon" today, but i think he'd make a great candidate. soon we will see a day when there will be no democrat or republican parties. the environment will become the only issue and the people will divide along the lines of environmentalist and non-environmentalist. almost the same as now, only other needs will be less important since the health of the planet will be in serious jeapardy. the nons will be full of fury, attack science more than now, and demand the goodies, with obviously backing from industry. the pro ens will demand a change in lifestyle for everyone to save the planet. who's gonna win?

no more Kennedys - if we wanted aristocracy we would have never overthrown the King of England.

yes agreed. but look at both ted & bob. they have no need to muss their hair in politics. they could stay home and play badmitton at martha's. same with jay rock. but they have become our greatest allies against the bushies. silver spoons not necessarily dishonerable.

3. Pres. Kerry would make Bobby Kennedy Jr. head of the EPA. |

I have no doubt about it. They are on the exact same page on the environment.

Why if a Kennedy has spent his adult life fighting for the environment would it matter what his name is? The Kennedy politicians have always stood up for the "Everyman."

to endure the scrutiny of a run for elected office. Serious drug use in his youth and a messy divorce from his first wife. He'd do just fine in appointed positions, I'm sure.
