Slain soldier's mother lashes out at Bush administration

The mother of a Fort Carson soldier killed in Iraq criticized President Bush Tuesday for not sending an administration official to her son´s memorial or attending himself.

Families of Fort Carson soldiers killed in Iraq rarely talk to the media after memorials and have never publicly criticized the president to reporters.

Elaine Harriet Johnson said Bush was in her home state of South Carolina shortly after her son, Spc. Darius Jennings, was killed on Nov. 2 yet she said the president didn´t contact her to offer condolences.

“Evidently, my son wasn´t important enough to him dead for him to visit the family or call the family,' Johnson said after her son´s memorial on Fort Carson. “As long as my son was alive, he was important to him because he sent him over there.'

5. Bush Meets Families of British War Dead
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/nm/20031120/wl_nm/bush_britain_families_dc_4

"The president's decision to meet the families also drew criticism in the United States. Some commentators noted he had not attended the funerals of any American troops, and his administration had barred television coverage of flag-draped coffins coming home.

"However, aides say Bush has met families of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq several times in private, and writes personal notes to express his condolences.

"In September, Bush met family members of 11 U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq, and he has also had other, unpublicized meetings, the U.S. official said."

HIS RESPONSIBILITY

the fact that it didn't happen before doesn't change the fact that HE said HE would do it.

7. I read this topic and said to myself

Of course not! Here is George being adored by royalty in Britain along with his dumbassed wife, while our boys and girls are being killed in Iraq because of his greed and stupidity. I read a disgusting article that lays out the presents that the Queen bestowed upon the stupid Texas couple, and their present to the Queen-exquiste and expensive china place settings, as if the queen need it--arrghhh it made me so angry that these two schlumfs, her in her atrocious outfits looking like a dumbassed frump and he in his baloon pants tryhing to look as though they are something other than the crooks they are--Imelda has nothing on them-here they were all being adored, by themselves in their self satisfied perceptions of their fairy tale trip to Britain and the Queen, while our young are being killed and slaughetered on his lie. I am so sad that no one is calling him on it--they are merely playing the game for his benefit. He is evil and deserves to be brought before some court , tried and convicted of war crimes , and duly punished for the same. In the past, those types of evil dictator, fascists were served the guillitine, or the hanging platform.

14. Sick as this is, I can belive this. One would think he could have had
staff just do a blind print on some properly somber, scented and perfumed stationery with flowers and USA Memorial Reliefs a form moment of quite, and given a "passage from the bible" acknowledgeing this soildiers and other soldiers deaths.....but NO!

He's the RULER OF THE WORLD.....and doesn't need to write little note to anyone. You signed UP....Your DUTY to SERVE! Just like Chimp did...just like Chimp did....so long ago.
