is that the media fury over Clinton's pardons gave Bush far more cover than he deserved. The media over-blew far more than Monica Lewinsky ever did.

It's good to view the parallel universe every once in a while. If one wants to read something about the Clintons, one need only to visit Lucianne.com or the newmaxipad.com. Today, there is a long thread about the private investigator Pellicano and how he is going to commit 'suicide' while in jail, because of his knowledge Clinton secrets. Reading the replies to the thread is like going back six or eight years to the hayday of the Clinton scandals 24/7 coverage. Yesterday or the day before, I read the comments of posting about the chimp on Atrios. Those comments are mostly from the left, but trolls cruise and do drive bys. One troll accused the left of making up stuff about the chimp because they hate him so much.
I compare what the chimp as done and the left's hatred of him to what Clinton did, and the wingnuts hatred for all Clintons. I suspose I cound not be called unbiased, but for all of the supossed scandals involving the Clinton and Clinton admistration members, not many people served time, in fact, none. The chimp's maladmistration has invaded and conquered a sovereign nation on the flimziest of reasons, killing several hundred Americans and countless thousands of Iraqis. If you want the LIHOP theorists, you can add 3000 more to the chimps death list.
I think I will go to my death, still not understanding the hatred the Clinton engender in otherwise sane people, the beltway whores in particular. I occasionally send an email to Len Downie, accusing him of stupidity among other things. He replied to one. He(or more likely, a flunky on his staff) was sure the final Whitewater would exonerate his crusade against the Clintons. He was sure the report castigate the Clintons. He did not say anything when it didn't and he has never replied to any other. His tombstone will probably read: "But, they were guilty!"

they'll spend 70mil to find out if Clinton really lost 40k in a land deal 10 years before, but not one dime to see if El Lardo broke the rules in Michigan to support Brush. At's OK, he didn't win the state anyway.
