did you hear that remark by Lou Dobbs tonight? Lou really tries harder than his Fox counterpart to keep his remarks neutral but tonight he let it all hang out.

10. I was there
... and I'd say 200,000 *minimum*. Trafalgar Square (which is a big area) was jammed wall-to-wall, shoulder-to-shoulder, and the marchers were still coming up from Whitehall, with a tailback of a good mile or so. I was also on the 1.5 million march in February, and my impression is that yesterday's protest was (proportionately, considering it was a weekday and confined to a much smaller area) just as well attended, and featured just as wide a spectrum of ages/classes. It's being said here that yesterday's march was the biggest ever held in Britain on a working day.

5. I'm not fooled, Skittles, and I'm glad to see you aren't either
What to do about the ultra right wing infiltration of our only publicly financed means of information sharing? Oh, cable is not publicly financed? Then who is paying for it? Who paid for the technology and who issues the license? I dunno, guess I'm just a dumbass.

7. I've stopped watching TV "news" altogether
they are all whoring for Bush to some degree and failing to do their jobs. America is going down the toilet yet their focus is on Michael Jackson, Kobe Bryant, Laci Peterson. It's worse than Pravda, which a least PRETENDED be interested in things that really affected people. I am sickened.

8. If it came down to them losing their jobs/careers
OR they had to set up someone as being an enemy of the state (like Clark or Dean) which they knew to be a lie...which do you think Dobbs/O'Reilly/Tweety/etc etc etc would pick?

I ain't betting on option one.
