Wow...Nightline starts with a bang
Koppel basically says Bush is full of sh*t when he says "Who can argue that the world would be a safer place if Saddam were still in power?"

1. now Bush is London
Edited on Thu Nov-20-03 11:47 PM by Cush
Wow, showing scenes from Sept 14, 2001...and now today

Bush now has a 60% Disapproval Ratings, and more think he has damaged Amercia's Creditbility.

An American there said that the People Back home need to realize what Bush is doing. THe protests are not anti-American, but Anti-Bush

2. Did you just see Bush walking with the soldier?
He looked like a complete idiot...he was almost marching like the soldier and moving his lips I guess talking to the soldier...of course they don't talk back...

9. there's a GREAT photo of him in that spot......
it caught him with both hands in front at the same time, fingers together, pointed down. sort of a mince.

I just went through almost 200 Yahoo photos, trying to find it.

saw it here somewhere, earlier, today. not the Guardian caption one

it's hilarious, even better than that walk in the parade.

so far the show, btw, has been exclusively antibush, from all sides: brits, americans (one, anyway), authors....everybody has only negatives.

bet next segment changes.

a pleasant surprise, so far; Koppel has let the cameras/subjects, mostly, do the talking...keeping largely above any editorial context

It's in the same procession as the caption picture.....the guards with the big hats. It's a shot of him walking between a column, with, I think, Charles behind.

his hands are bent down, at a ninety degree angle with his wrists.

he couldn't look more half-witted.

I will surely die if I don't see that picture again.

guess I could go through my "history" column.....that'll take forever, but it's worth it.

thanks, for looking, though.

If I find it, you'll enjoy it.....promise

meanwhile:

16. Doesn't that first one look photoshopped?
I took a triple take when I first saw it. Believe it or not the best place to get funny Bush pics is FreepRepublic. They post about 20 pics per day in a daily thread. It was indispensable in putting together video for Moveon.org's upcoming ad contest. Thanks Freeps!

Guy from the NY Times: I think the American people might see these protests, and think that there might be something to them

Of course, with all Michael all the time, that won't happen

23. "Why do they hate you?" (from the press conference)
Boosh just does his head bob thingie and laughed, "Not so sure they do". So why not mingle with regular folks?

Critical and unblinking assessment of Boosh's world wide mess last night.
