Senate Cloture Vote to Occur on H.R. 6, the Energy bill, at 10:30 AM
60 votes are needed to invoke cloture, regardless of how many members are present.

2. Senator Collins (R) of ME will be voting against
and I have hopes for my other Senator, Olympia Snowe. she too, expressed reservations with the Bill.

3. Chris Dodd indicated last night there was hope for a filibuster...
with some Republicans joining the majority of Democrats to stop this egregious giveaway to Bush's corporate energy cronies.

The Bushies do not believe in free market capitalism, their deal is corporate crony capitalism--subsidized by the taxpayers--current and future--our children and grandchildren! It is a rigged game!
