Anyone Catch Durbin's mistake on the floor today?
He had a chart of what the Ceo's make a year for insurance companies.

Talked about the head of Pacific Care........his side comment was. You all have seen the ad with the whale flopping in the water.

The ad he referred to was for Pacific LIFE formerly called Pacific Mutual NOT Pacific Care.

1. pacific whatever
Is there an insurance company out there that is not crooked and headed by shysters? There probably is a Pacific Care with a CEO that makes to much. One thing is for sure that Dick Durbin is a pitbull for fighting for the rights of average americans like you and me.

:dem:

6. Huge Difference - Pacific Life solid ethical company-Pres Schafer good guy
The head of the operation is Tom Sutton - an actuary - as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer; the President is Glenn S. Schafer, who I worked with in lobbying Congress on taxes in the 80's and 90's. He is a solid straight arrow.

On the other hand Pacific Care is in trouble for a reason.

9. I love Durbin
and I liked your remark about the headline. LOL

Durbin is passionate and really cares for people and their needs. I think he is one of the best in the Senate.
