1. Did you see the Height Poll -- Dem vs. Reps
On average Repugs are Napoleonic runts and Dems are towering self-assured Giants. That is a Republican is most likey 5'10 and under and Democrats are 6'0 and over. If this generalization holds, the shorter Repugs also suffer from many other unhealthy statistics on average (higher blood pressure for starters).

2. It's a classic case of
"The Little Man Syndrome". They always have to be meaner and louder to make up for other "short comings".
