an idea for a campaign commercial

The Republicans are running a campaign commercial and manipulating 9/11 to their benefit.

Suppose someone ran a commercial in which there is a split screen and the left side would show the WTC burning after the 2nd plane hit (you wouldn't actually show the 2nd plane because there would be a backlash) and on the right side they would show * listening to those kids at Emma Booker elementary.

Would that be effective?
