I didn’t have anything to do with choosing any draft deferment.. Yet Dean

http://www.msnbc.com/news/912159.asp

Snip:
In the winter of 1970, a 21-year-old student from Yale walked into his armed services physical in New York carrying X-rays and a letter from his orthopedist, eager to know whether a back condition might keep him out of the military draft.

Snip:
So, he came to his physical armed with X-rays and a letter from his orthopedist.

Sounds like Dean took all the documentation necessary to avoid being drafted.

1. That would be the logical thing to do if one had a physical problem
that might qualify one for a deferment. (I am a Kucinich supporter.)

4. What are you doing?
Real helpful. Provide soundbites for the other side to use, "Well EVEN DEMOCRATS like phirili have been critical of Dean's statements about the draft."
