11/12/04: Bush Declares Emergency As Democrats Name Gore President
Bush Declares Emergency As Democratic Opposition Names Gore President

Washington, 11 November 2004 (DU) -- President Bush has declared a state of emergency following what he called an attempted "coup d'etat."

In live televised comments Bush said, "We have to bring order to the country."

The announcement came after Democratic opposition supporters seized control of the government today after a week of protests against disputed election results.

Shortly after Bush's statement, the Democratic opposition declared Al Gore president.

Bush was earlier whisked out of the White House by bodyguards after demonstrators forced open the door of the chamber and stormed in as he was preparing a speech before the opening session of the newly elected Congress.

A Democratic leader told Congress, "The velvet revolution has taken place in America."

The Democratic opposition has been protesting the 4 November elections, which they say was rigged in favor of Bush through massive computer fraud in selected, critical states, including Florida, Minnesota, Pennsylvania , Ohio, Iowa, Arizona, Nevada, Missouri, Arkansas and Tennessee.

The Bush totals in these states defied the polls, which had Gore winning 53-47%. The Bush winning margin in each state was greater than the .5% spread required for a recount. Gore won the popular vote by over 2 million votes.

A voter-verified paper trail will not be required until 2006.

1. Shortly after the Democrat Candidate is declared the winner in November 2004, the Republican House votes impeachment on the yet to be sworn in President-elect.

2. After the Democrat Caonidate wins the electorcal college, but loses the total vote count (Strangely, in Texas the vote count was 5 Million to Zero - not one vote was counted for the Democrat), in a surprise flip-flop from 2000, the Supreme Court voids the election and named Bush President for Life.

9. You bet your bippy its true--and the most likely scenario if the Dem is
ahead in the polls in the last couple of weeks.

Under the law, the head of FEMA (Bush's crony) simply declares a national emergency and the President has the authority to suspend the election, even declare Martial Law.

He could also just raise the Terror Level for the whole country to Code Red. That means no one except emergency and needed workers are allowed on the roads. Everyone else must stay IN their house and the local law will patrol to enforce Code Red. Whatever troops are left her ein this country would also participate and set up Checkpoints around the country. When you drive up, they are already trained to say "Citizen Can I See Your ID?"

Anyone resisting at the checkpoint could be shot like an Iraqi.

Most likely is the FEMA avenue. Then he just cleanly suspends the election until the emergency was over. It's a lot cheaper....
