These are great speakers. Inspiring.
After staying up until 3 am to see the Republicans "DeLay" the vote on Medicare until enough threats could be made to turn the defeat into a victory, this protest in London gives me a bit of a reason to hang on to optimism.

These television alerts on DU are really helpful. I usually keep the t.v. off or I will become hysterical watching the rightwing crap. But when there's something I need to watch I know I'll find out about it here.

No free Mumia. No save the whales. No East Timor. (as worthy as those issues are)
