Gee, I'd feel more confident in the Warren Commission's findings if it had included Ronald Reagan and Dan Quayle!

1. Guess old Gerald isn't gonna tell us anything.
He's a co-conspirator, just by his association. He knows much more than he is saying. Arlen Spector is still out there too. He served as counsel or whatever.

2. Gerald Ford/Warren Commission
In light of all new evidence, Ford still maintains that he has
not seen any evidence to counter the findings of the Warren
Commission. Is he blind? I don't think so. Is he stupid? I
don't think so. Is he choosing to maintain a coverup of
unfathomable proportions? You betcha. Anyone with at least
one brain cell can determine that there was a conspiracy. It
is also now beginning to look as though Lee Oswald was set up
to take the fall by the C.I.A. My question is, what exactly
did the Warren Commission do all of those years? Did they get
together at Ford's house on Saturday afternoons and watch Wide
World of Sports?

5. gerald ford is indeed stupid, folks
This is the man described in LBJ's famous comment: "He played too much football without his helmet."

Nixon didn't pick him for his brainpower but for his proven ability to be pushed around.

The fact that this falling-down drunk looks intelligent today, next to Whistleass, is a scary comment indeed on today's leadership.

Ford is a tool. A nice one, probably, but still a tool.

He was out there shaking hands with the CDC today and telling us he will get to the bottom of the green onion panic....

4. Yeah, Was Just Googling SPECTER for This
Edited on Sat Nov-22-03 07:09 PM by UTUSN
but he was an Assistant Counselor to the Commission, not 'on' the Commission itself. He's the one who came up with the magic bullet scheme. Check out the path of that bullet, zig zag zig:

ARLEN SPECTER--A NOTORIOUS CAREER

Otoh, the WARREN Commisssion delivered *a* report in ten months. Shrub's scrubbing commion on 9-11 not only hasn't delivered a report, but Shrub hasn't even turned over documents to it and will get to edit what it chooses.

7. Jerry Ford's getting up there in years. Hopefully, he's got a conscience..
...or at least a strong desire to avoid burning in Hell for eternity. Either one would be fine if it causes him to spill his guts on what he really knows about the Bush Criminal Empire's involvement in JFK, Watergate, etc. before he leaves this world and closes the last page on the Warren Commission coverup.
