that's it… I'm done with Dean |
|
after reading through another thread I came to realize that Dean is raising too much money.
as such, I've shifted my support to Al Sharpton who will certainly not have to deal with this problem.

Who needs money anyway? I'm now throwing my support behind Sharpton.

2. Shouldn't this be in the Lounge? |
|
It's not a serious discussion.

6. Yeah, Dean doesn't need all that money if he's got the support |
|
He should be able to win based on people's votes. I don't see why he should be taking their money too. Maybe he's got a drug habit just like Rush. Click Here To See Fair & Balanced Buttons, Stickers & Magnets

And what was that post that someone made about "corporations not able to donate to candidates" ..Is that true? So bush just gets money from individuals, now?

Corporations cannot donate directly out of their coffers, as a result of a law passed in 1907. Of course, CEO's and members of Boards of Directors can donate $2000 each, and the company can set up a separate PAC to raise and donate money. There are ways around the law.

8. Mmmm...better go with Braun then |

Although she just hired Patty Ireland, ooooh! Half of her campaign cash will have to go to pay her salary.

In my hypnotic enthusiasm I failed to realize that Dean can't beat Bush. So I'm dropping him.
I'll vote for the next poster who can convince me that his or her candidate is the only one who can beat Bush. No facts, please. Entries will be evaluated soleley on bluster and unfounded, hyperbolic assumptions. Anecdotes about the women in your bridge club, the guys at the fire station, the fellows down at the legion hall, the clerk at the convenience store or life-long republican uncles will get bonus points.
