In any case, it was the most enjoyable hour or so I've had all week. He made so many good points and made me laugh a lot...so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

but if it was a satirical remark it was in bad context. Also in his book he acknowledges many news resources DEM NOW and KPFA are not mentioned. I'm cynical because he is a member of the DLC and mentions Kerry as a possible nominee. I'm cynically nit picking I don't throw babies out with the bath water. 90% of what he says and do I love.

Franken doesnt strike me as being that way.

Then again, I used to think DemNOW and Pacifica were too liberal as well (whatever that means, like, too honest?).

Pacifica may not be as professional sounding* as NPR and mainstream mush, (although Democracy Now is very professional - I used to think Amy Goodman was Nina Totenburg, or maybe i mean Dianne Ream...*)

but gee, what would I rather have, the truth and real information, or professional sounding/homogenized news that leaves me in a dazed fog?

Franken has done incredible work though.

His latest book made me laugh so hard at times I felt stupid reading it in public.
