At certain benchmarks along the way I expect someone to notice the POWER here and the attraction.

I think I was disappointed at 20,000 when no one even peeped a congrats to Skinner and Co..

I see that we are approaching 35,000 registered members.

I have no doubt that this is the MOST objective, fair and important political website in existence.

It cannot always be so.

Some day some smart DUer may start their own version of DU and Skinner or his cohorts will tire of the drudgery and split and this too must pass.

But now it is growing and it will, I believe, secure the presidency for Dean.

It will shape and mold the primaries and it will forge ahead in the effort to ultimately defeat Bush and the BFEE.

We will change the world. DU will change the world.

So I think we should throw a party for whoever gets to be the 35,000th member - held in their home state.

I'll buy a round if it is in mine.

I believe Will Pitt has written at least one (probably more!) article on BBV.

That is seriously the issue of the millenium for American democracy.

6. Stephanie compiled PNAC information months before the war with Iraq

and created an archive. Will Pitt has written and shared many inspirational articles and a wrote book with former weapons inspector Scott Ridder. Bev worked tirelessly on BBV.

There are many, many more contributors to the DU community and this site is getting worldwide exposure and acclaim.

Rush hates us. The AARP hierarcy hates us. Freepers hate us.

Seventhson mentioned DU changing the world, I think he is on to something.
