Mary Matalin's rationalizations for the war
Edited on Sun Nov-23-03 11:24 AM by jumptheshadow
She is saying on MTP we are building freedom in the Middle East and that then those free countries won't export terrorism.

Has anybody advised the Republicans that all those lives have been wasted in the Iraq war to ultimately create an anti-American Islamic republic?

Have the Republicans ever considered that our unilateral militarism is fostering hatred against our country?

Hel-lo?

3. Absolutely. She's a fake.
There are people like Matalin who are in it only for the cash.

5. She's on Russert with Carville
I must say I get a lot of pleasure in seeing him rebut her points.

Yes, you can say it's a tired act. But I have a beloved brother who thinks just like the way she does. I can relate to it.

That's one of the things that is so nuts about this country today. So many of us can relate to each other in so many ways. But bring up politics and it gets ugly.

using this "rationale", we'd better send troops to
Pakistan, China, Russia to name a few....

but they don't call this empire building....

8. My guilty pleasure -- I love to watch her
She's so completely freaking delusional that it's funny.

She's like a wind-up doll that just spouts the Republican talking points on demand. It's hilarious.

I love watching Carville while Matalin's talking. He fidgets and drinks coffee and occasionally laughs and covers his face with his hand. He cracks me up.

10. I really get so mad
Edited on Sun Nov-23-03 03:22 PM by Marianne
at these people--they completely ignore the lying that went on--Bush's lies killed thousands of people. For them it is just super duper that Bush lied to everyone--as long as we got on the land and stole the stuff. Children were killed and maimed--and Mary Matalin--I have a question for you--how would you like to see your children in this situation and be told it is for their own good. This was a crime, Mary. Bush did this on false pretenses. Your absent hearted slime of a boss lied in order to get Halliburton on Iraqi soil--he murdered and maimed these children as well -- imagine if they were your children

Can you? Can you work for the war criminals who did this to children using false pretenses to bomb them and kill them and maim them.

more pictures here Mary--use one of them for wallpaper on your computer to remind yourself how we had lie to bomb these innocent people in order to bring them freedom. They did nothing to harm us or your children--nothing.

14. She is no one to listen too.
I watched the MTP show. Talk about speaking from the heart of the propaganda machine. She is one of the main people behind the Bush lie machine.

Last I heard, her name is also being mentioned as the source of the CIA agent leak. She wasn't to composed today. She seemed to be nervous.

something to watch out more for. she kept using the phrase "puny
politics" when referring to Dem. This is part of the great Repuke tactic of making light of and belittling democrats.

16. That slays me
The term "puny politics" as it refers to Democrats.

How can she show such disrespect for the party her husband loves?

And vice versa, of course.
