3. To this day I regard the presidency as vacant
I refuse to modify the name George W. Bush with the title President. Morevoer, a resounding Bush victory in 2004 will not cause me to do so. Legitimacy is like virginity; once it is lost, it cannot be regained. Like the Whore of Babylon, the Bush administration was born corrupt.

Bush is not president. There is no war on terror. No American owes this imposter allegiance.

Every Bush legislative initiative should be filibustered. Every appointment should be denied. Every call to arms should go unanswered.

13. Well Said, Mr. Rabbit...!!
I have myself sworn an oath in that regard, to never demean the office by speaking that reptile's name in connection with it.

8. At the very damn least
A single democratic senator with a spine should have signed on to the Congressional Black Caucauses motion to reject the results.

10. This was a Oil Company Coup!!!!
Our weak elected officials were useless!!!

And now they have no power and never will.

And thousands of innocent will die due to their weakness!!!

And we will remember them as cowards from this day forward!!!!

12. As far as I am concerned...
The Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastert, is the only person who can lawfully lay claim to the Presidency, at this point.

14. It didn't help that the goddamned media was urging Gore to "Give it up"
And in a lot of cases, not too subletly, either.

The media, for some inexplicable reason, hated Al Gore. And it didn't stop until Gore conceded.

15. Not inexplicable.
Money is God to a lot of people.

They know which side their bread is buttered on.

Gore would have been less 'friendly' than Bush.
