Also included Ida Tarbell, who was one of the first muckrakers, and reported on Rockefeller.
Jane Adams, the first Social Worker.
Quite inspiring, and so many parallels with what we are facing now.
Next time is WWI, and the Black Soldiers who came back and fought for the same rights as white soldiers.
The program is "FReedom: A History Of Us".
It's announcer is Katie Couric, who I could do without.
There's supposed to be more info on the PBS website.
Hope the west coasters can catch this one.
