Poll question: bush* is a divider, not a uniter. WHY is he so divisive?

:tinfoilhat: suggests that #2 may be the answer with the most credibility. Rip apart the Constitution, bring in lots of "Patriot" Acts in the name of fighting terrorism, and quietly exterminate all those who oppose him because they/we/us/anybody-he-sees are against him. Remember, he has said he wants to be a dictator and that we are either for him or against him in the purport 'war on terror'. No middle ground. His actions are a setup for something very sinister indeed, especially if he gets elected in 2004, assuming the elections even take place...

And when Michael Moore disappears, consider that incontroverible proof that :tinfoilhat: is far more reality than anything even dreamt up in our worst nightmares. :D It just hasn't happened. Yet. Perhaps we have to speak loudly now, because it's possible such speech will be soon utterly outlawed. bush's gang of anti-american rabblerousers have gone so far already as to label any dissent as being traitors. :scared:

1. Because a DIVIDED populace will never meet each other
to discuss what they have in common - namely that the power elite are fucking the other 96% of us equally ....

A divided populace can never morph into a mob against the minority and the GOP will remain firmly in control, tossing crumbs at some of us and tossing blame at the rest ....

4. He is simple minded...
the other key quote: "You're either with us, or against us" is the tip off.

His idea of uniting is to get everybody behind his ideas. It's not that he's intentionally dividing. I think he really thought that everybody would be behind him 100%. This is the product of a spoiled child, having nothing but Texas yes-men around him 24/7.

Those yes-men, on the other hand, are vicious dividers.
