but my advice is to retain hope...but then again i cannot take my own advice...but i maintain that just because i cannot take my own advice does not mean it is not good advice...i do not have enough posts to start a thread, but can i ask this question without bunging up your thread: will any democrat be better than four more years of shrub, only to have another schlep/puppet republican back there in four years??? if things are going to get worse, maybe it's better for shrub to take the hit and then we can get a two-term dem in there for the upswing?? because i can't stand bush, but i'd hate to see a decent democrat being lambasted for a mess he didn't create, ok i'll admit i am confused and angry and afraid for the future (again, not taking my own advice re: hope) as soon as i can decide who i am backing in the primaries i'd like to see that person go two-term, but i have this nagging feeling that the corporate creeps will not let that happen...

3. It's amazing how rigid people can be. |

My hunch is, you could show the Rat-publicans a thousand times that their policy is wrong, or their "man" is a complete loser, and they STILL would not change their view.
They would continue to lambaste the Democratic party ad nauseum, because that's all they know.
So, in my opinion, we need to keep on keepin on because the Rim-publican way ain't good for your health. All that hatin' leads to stomach problems and a shitty outlook.
So let 'em.

all we can do is keep slugging because at least we can say we tried...i have yet to find a national radio talk show with a left-wing view-point...anyone know of any syndicated left-friendly shows? there is SO much right-wing crap on AM radio i'd love to be able to point dial to anything but that oxymoron limbaugh...but i must admit everytime i happen to hear him it cements my beliefs that the right is wrong...

5. we're through the looking glass here though |

Thanks to the RW corporate neocon media propaganda and disinformation machine and the "newthink" they'vesystematically promulgated in their rank and file, the worse things get, the more they blame us.
And we don't control a single branch of government and nary a state either.
Yet it's all still the liburl's fault.
I'm not sure the "bottoming-out" scenario even wakes up the masses.
It may be too late.

it may be too late, but, we cannot give up...but a friend of mine was just ranting on this topic and his new world order/illuminati/corporate bunglers destroying the planet and the country are starting to feel more "real" than they ever have...
