Poll question: I simply refuse to vote for |
|
Edited on Mon Nov-24-03 08:33 AM by Rowdyboy
I omit Lieberman, Braun and Sharpton because....(heck, because I'm designing this poll and I want to!). Seriously, they're not going to be nominated so I'm leaving them out.

have been so rude that I will not vote for Kerry...unless there is the slimmest chance he is nominated. Still, I won't vote for him until that 4 minute window opens up on election day in 2004 when I am in the voting booth, but in all the time until then, and afterwards, I am absolutely not voting for him.

You can't hold Kerry responsible for jerks on the internet. Some of the crap said by Clark supporters here leaves me cringing with embarrassment, but I have no control over what they say. We all have opinions and we're all free to express them. Thats what DU is about.
But don't blame the candidate. He can't control this...

I've been insulted countless times by Dean supporters and even though Dean is near the bottom of nominee wish list, I will cast my vote for him. As much as I dislike his supporters, I'm too afraid of Bush* not to vote for the Dem. nominee.
(I'm speaking about being insulted by the Dean supporters I've met in person. I don't always agree with Dean supporters here, but no one has been outright rude to me.)

2. Pride will be too expensive in this coming election. |

I was seriously thinking of staying home or voting Green if Joe was nominated, but I've since decided that that'll do me no good. ABB, baby.

Lieberman has no base in the Democratic party.

8. Oh, I agree. It's a hypothetical I've been going over. |
|
I think Al Sharpton has about the same chance of getting the nod than Joe "Aetna" Lieberman. But even if every other candidate dropped dead of a heart attack, I'd still vote for him. I can't afford being morally indigent this time around.

6. We are freaking DOOMED. |

When I voted (ABB by the way) the tally was 26-ABB, 17-actually won't vote for a certain Democrat against Bush.
EEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!
THAT my friends is a 60%/40% SPLIT. THAT isn't a circular firing squad, taken from the ranks where a shooter acutally might MISS. THAT is recruiting the squad from the elite SHARPSHOOTER/SNIPER RANKS.
WE are fucking DEAD.

some people just want to stir up sh*t because they think we fight amongst ourselves. I'm completely confident that when election day comes, we are all democrats first and we will kick that chimp to the curb!

Yet, he's part of the 40%.
Unless we can poll 80%-90% of our own constituency to oust Bush, then we might as well not even bother getting the ol' knickers in a twist, so to speak.
