Some comments on today's Limbaugh Show
Only caught a few minutes, first time since he's back. I might be re-hashing old stuff, but this struck me as funny.

Mr. Limbaugh claims he is not a hypocrite for abusing drugs while taking a firm stance against drug abuse because regardless of a man's actions, he can still speak the truth.

Yes, Mr. Limbaugh, but if you do that, then that is called...being a hypocrite.

He then applies this truism to people (us?) bashing other people (Bush?) for taking a stance on the war while never having served themselve. "You can't support the space program if you were never an astronaut?"

Well, Mr. Limbaugh. Supporting the war is one thing. Portraying yourself as a warrior in a poorly strapped flight suit when you in fact spend your service time partying is another.
Also, sending other people's children out to die for their country (but even more for your personal political agenda), when you and your children are protected from doing such acts could be considered....hypocritical. But then, you wouldn't understand.

He then cites a story about Dr. Dean, emphasizing that Dr. Dean dodged the draft, and that Dr. Dean cannot claim to understand the black community just because he had black room mates in college.

All I can say to that, Mr. Limbaugh is...you don't have to be an astronaut to support the space program. Oh, and I might add that if inconsistency is consistent, it borders on hypocrisy.

Well, so much for my fifteen minutes of Rush. I didn't think much of dittoheads before, but people who continue to agree to this idiot should have their voting rights revoked. How's that for democracy? lol.

2. this was my fave today

And I only had Limpballs on for 30 seconds. He managed to produce this gem:

"This last week we celebrated...umm.. commemorated JFK's assassination.."

Good one, moran.

3. He's as bad as ever, as predicted - Where's the sympathy now?
Many here at DU actually felt SORRY for that bag of excrement. For him to criticize Dean for "dodging the draft" given his and the other Chickenhawks' record is breathtakingly bold. That's his secret. His astounding hypocrisy knows no limits. The Freepers/Dittoheads never stop to reflect on what they say; they only hate. He feeds 'em. They are his Precious.

4. Well, it depends on how you do it
One way to do it is to say, "I am a sinner as we all are, but I am still compelled to tell you that sinning is bad."

That's not hypocritical at all.

The other way is to say "I am an example of the virtures that I preach so become like me. Oops I guess I am a sinner too."

That is hypocritical.

That is what Rush Limbaugh has done, more or less. I mean he has held himself up as an example of what one guy can do if he puts his mind to it. He's always saying to his audience, "Hey if I can beat a crooked system by tricking you into believing its fair, well, so can anybody." Well, not in so many words, of course

Nor is the manly man he has now become, Rush Limbaugh.

So stop saying that. You are all just a bunch of mean-spirited anal cysts.

You are jealous of Rush because he has become as rich as Midas by selling out and tooting his flatulent horn for corporate fascism. You all just wish you could do the same. Nyyyahhh !

So shut up and sit down.

With a smirk,
Your Totally Honest and Truly Trustworthy pals at EIB
