1. To destroy Medicare, of course

They are relying on the greed of the companies and individuals involved to whore a bill through that will likely bankrupt the system in a very short time.

The underlying purpose of all this is to drive the US back into the social and political attitudes of the 1920's, and thanks to the stupidity of the current occupants of those seats in Congress, the radical right is succeeding beyond their wildest dreams.

That is why ABB is the only form American patriotism can take in 2004. Even throwing Bush out on his ass isn't going to do much more than slow down the collapse. It will take years for the harm the Bushites have done to even be calculated, let alone healed.

That, by the way, is why I support Clark. I think he is grounded enough and stubborn enough to work to heal the wounds this nation has had inflicted upon it by the radical right and the incumbent whores who have sold out their country for bucks.

But hey, that's just me. ;^)
