The Perpetually Vacationing President...
Just back from his farcical photo op ... er, "fantastic trip" with Queen Elizabeth, this occasional Prez is now off on yet ANOTHER vacation to Crawford!

Is anyone keeping track of just how much time this Pretender to the Oval Office is actually spending in the WH? He must be setting some kind of record, and I for one think this must become an issue for next year's election.

For a man who promotes a perpetual climate of fear and crisis, you would think he would at least make a show of it by spending a little more time where a President belongs -- in the White House! So while more and more Americans are losing jobs and homes and the Middle East is about to totally blow apart, he's jaunting about as if it's just another day at the pig farm.

Anyone know of a website where the numbers are being tracked -- ie, how many days of vacation Bush has taken and how many days he has actually spent in Washington? Like I said, this is so ridiculous it really should be an election issue.

1. when the fucker's
not vacationing, he's fundraising. yes, that most important pre-occupation of chimps; giving unintelligible speeches, eating herb encrusted jumbo shrimp, and toasting to the criminals with sparkling champagne.

2. He does not look as though he is rested from his fairy tale visit

Ohhhh--cranky--it is a put on face--he will be talking to people who lost their families due to his lies and incompetence. He really does not give a shit.

and here he is going to church this morning--looking very worn out--and Laura not in attendance at church this morning. All worn out from galavanting around hiding because of the threat of assissination, because, well no one likes him very much. :-)

For a minute, before I realized that it was the priest, I though it was Laura making another fashion statement.

10. His old lady is at the hog farm.
I will bet that she is alreadt at the hog ranch. AF2 more than likly flew her there earlier. Doesen`t matter that the chimp will be there tonight on AF1. Hay, at 57,000 dollars an hour, what do they care how many planes they use. It isn`t coming out of their pocket. This should be a campaign issue.

From the WaPo:

A CBS News tally shows this is Bush's 26th presidential trip to Crawford. He has spent all or part of 166 days at the ranch or en route -- the equivalent of 51/2 months. When Bush's trips to Camp David and Kennebunkport, Maine, are added, according to the CBS figures, Bush has spent 250 full or partial days at his getaway spots -- 27 percent of his presidency so far

9. And that trip to Buckingham Palace, too...
Do you get the impression the Chimp in Chief is afraid to be in Washington for very long? That's what it seems like to me.

God knows where Dick Cheney is anymore. The "Invisible Veep" must be hunkering down in the bunker again.

5. campaign ad idea....
"George Bush told us in 2000 that he was a Washington outsider. Since being inaugurated, he has spent X number of days away from Washington (cut to pictures of shrubby playing golf and fishing) and X number of days vacationing in Crawford (cut to pics of shrubby driving around in his truck on the ranch). In 2004, George Bush is still an outsider. It's time that we send him home."

15. to go along with that . . .
how about a pretty (and bold) bar graph of days in DC vs. days in Crawford, at Camp David, campaigning, etc. . . . a lot of people don't listen so well, but they understand simple graphics like this ("visual learners," I think they're called) . . . in fact, the Democrats might want to end EVERY one of their ads with just such a graphic . . . just to reinforce the idea, ya know? . . .
