I need a list of cities that have passed anti-Patriot Act resolutions
I was discusing the Patriot Act with my class today and I mentioned that over 165 municipalities had passed resolutions opposing the Patriot Act. When I googled "patriot act" and "resolutions" I came up with a huge list. Does anybody have a link to a list of the specific municipalities that have passed resolutions, so that I may share it with my next class.

3. I'm working on just such a site for children.
In the meantime, I think I recall finding at least two such sites onilne. A good way to find such lists is to type "Patriot Act" + "cities" into Google, then begin adding the names of various communities.

This appears to be a fairly complete list: http://www.bordc.org/Successes.htm

A word of caution: Seattle doesn't really deserve to be on this list. King County Democrats have emulated George W. Bush in exploiting terrorism more ruthlessly than in almost any other city. Seattle's City Council is as big a farce as the Seattle School Board.

With that in mind, I suspect some other communities have also joined the rebellion in name only. As a general rule, I suspect smaller communities are more likely to be geunine - especially communitiies with little corporate influence.

Their website is here. Apparently 3 states and 216 cities, towns, and counties have passed resolutions.

On edit, you've gotten that info already. :)
