testing 1, 2, 4 My fist idea didn't work, but try placing your cursor at the end of the URL ( http://www.democra....) and pressing ENTER.

why are you wanting to refresh the post a message window?
Just click a link to go to topic or use your browser back button .. then click view all or refresh the topic page.?? does this work for you?

I have to go back to the General Disscusion Forum, and then come back to the thread. Is this the only way to do this?

After you post, you need to either go back to the forum page and locate your topic, or press the "Back" button twice, then refresh (or hit "View All").
