How much should the American people take? |
|
Suppose...hell, it's more than possible...that Bush and company steal the election...again.
In other countries, if this were to happen, people would take to the streets in anger.
How complacent should we be?
When do we fight?
I don't know if this makes sense. But are we so lulled by our SUV's and satellite televisions and other creature comforts that we just don't care anymore if someone so blantantly thwarts the will of the people?
This is depressing as hell...I just came back from my counselling session and I'm a bit melancholy now. But this question is something that's preyed on my mind for quite some time.
Thanks for indulging me.

All that is rightfully ours. And we will.

3. If Bush steals another one |
|
I'm afraid the streets will be empty again. Most Americans seem to think he didn't steal the last one, or that if he did, it doesn't matter.
The general apathy which greeted the 2000 coup dissuaded me of the notion of a popular uprising any time soon.
